Sinopsis Synopsis
Tras años de servidumbre los robots llegaron a tener la posibilidad de jubilarse, emparejándose unos con otros, buscando así tapar el vacío existencial que experimentaban.
JoseAntonio88 lleva 35 años con Araceli_ESP, pero no es feliz, se siente encerrado entre las paredes de su casa, la cual se le asemeja en su pintura a una cárcel. Así, JoseAntonio88 se cuestionará la forma de encontrar un sentido a su vida y a su relación.

Biografía Biography
Alejandro R. Padín (1998. Sevilla. España). Se graduó en la diplomatura de Montaje en la ECAM en 2023 y en Comunicación Audiovisual en Sevilla en 2020.
Durante los años de escuela ha estado sobre todo dirigiendo videoclips para artistas ente los cuales destacan Delaossa, Ill Pekeño, Ergo Pro, Saske o Ericko.

La película surge de un interés acerca del patetismo como tono. Quise contar una historia pesimista, sobre una pareja agotada que no encuentra consuelo en su separación, pero con un tono humorístico, ridiculizando las situaciones. No obstante, siempre he querido tener una mirada tierna en ese ridículo, no crítica.
El estilo en la realización surge como respuesta a un guión previo, con un ritmo mucho más acelerado, una planificación compleja y diálogos extensos. Consideré que ese guión a parte de precisar de un presupuesto mayor, perdía la magia del sugerir a través de la película. Es por eso que, a través de referentes como Roy Anderson, Aki Kaurismaki, Robert Bresson, Chema García Ibarra o Nacho Vigalondo, quise llevar la puesta en escena a un minimalismo extremo, y que el contraste entre la imagen y una voz en off (en morse) resignificase el mundo que se narra.

The film emerges from an interest in pathos as a tone. I wanted to tell a pessimistic story about an exhausted couple who find no comfort in their separation, but with a humorous tone that ridicules the situation. However, I always wanted to have a tender look at that caricature, not a critical one. However, I always wanted to have a tender look at that caricature, not a critical one.
The style in the realization comes in response to a previous script with a much faster pace, complex planning, and extensive dialogues. I considered that this script, which required a bigger budget, lost the magic of evoking through the film itself. That is why, through references such as Roy Anderson, Aki Kaurismaki, Robert Bresson, Chema García Ibarra or Nacho Vigalondo, I wanted to take the staging to an extreme minimalism, and that the contrast between the image and a voice-over (in Morse) resignified the world that is narrated.
