Rafaka Contreras (Rafael Contreras López) nació el 26 de diciembre de 1989 en Molina de Segura (Murcia), España. Apasionado de la cultura Hip Hop, es conocido por su espíritu inquieto y por su activa implicación en la escena urbana y artística de su ciudad. Diseñador Gráfico, Director Creativo, Compositor de VFX y Cineasta, ha desarrollado una carrera versátil que fusiona lo visual con lo musical.
En su trayectoria profesional destaca su participación en producciones de gran proyección como La Casa de Papel, Berlín, La Mesías, El Hoyo 2, The Morning Show, Sky Rojo, Sagrada Familia, El refugio atómico, entre muchas otras.
La música es una de sus grandes pasiones. Como DJ y productor especializado en campeonatos de Breaking y All Style, ha recorrido España, Europa y otros rincones del mundo, llevando su energía y estilo a escenarios internacionales.
Como artista plástico ha realizado diversas exposiciones y ha recibido múltiples premios y menciones.

Passionate about hip-hop culture, he stands out for his restless spirit and his active participation in his city’s urban and artistic scene. As a graphic designer, creative director, visual effects composer, and filmmaker, he has forged a versatile career that blends the visual with the musical. Among the highlights of his professional career are his contributions to high-profile productions such as *La Casa de Papel*, *Berlin*, *La Mesías*, *El Hoyo 2*, *The Morning Show*, *Sky Rojo*, *Sagrada Familia*, and *El refugio atómico*, among many others. Music is one of his greatest passions. As a DJ and producer specializing in Breaking and All Style competitions, he has toured Spain, Europe, and other parts of the world, bringing his energy and style to international stages. As a visual artist, he has held various exhibitions and received numerous awards and honors.

Este breve cortometraje surge de la urgencia de reflexionar sobre el pasado para entender dónde estamos ahora. Desde el principio de todo, una aventura nos lleva por los rastros que las civilizaciones han impreso en la historia: signos, idiomas y maneras de hablar que han formado quiénes somos como humanidad. A lo largo de su curso, el trabajo se sumerge en el mundo digital, donde los algoritmos toman el lugar de las expresiones y los monitores se tragan la esencia humana. Es ahí donde aparece la inteligencia artificial, ya no como un simple instrumento, sino como la que diseña un nuevo sistema, moldeando a las personas a su propio gusto. La creación de esta pieza viene de la preocupación por mostrar lo vulnerable que es nuestra formación y nuestro mundo ante un porvenir que no podemos predecir, ofreciendo un desenlace ambiguo que plantea la gran duda: ¿continuaremos escribiendo nuestra propia historia o seremos escritos por lo que nosotros mismos creamos?

This short film stems from the urgent need to reflect on the past in order to understand where we are now. From the very beginning, an adventure takes us along the paths that civilizations have etched into history: signs, languages, and ways of expressing ourselves that have shaped who we are as humanity. As the film progresses, it delves into the digital world, where algorithms replace human expression and screens swallow up the human essence. It is there that artificial intelligence emerges—no longer as a mere tool, but as the force that designs a new system, molding people to its will. This work was created with the aim of showing just how vulnerable our identity and our world are in the face of a future we cannot predict, offering an ambiguous conclusion that poses the fundamental question: Will we continue to write our own history, or will we be written by that which we ourselves have created?
